I have changed out the main board thinking it was the stepper drivers and this made no difference. So on further investigation if I do a M205ġ7:51:05.711 : EPR:3 3 146.0036 X-axis steps per mmīut by adjusting this it makes no difference in the Steps per MM as I get the same distance traveled. How to I change the Steps per MM for the X axis since it appears that M501 does not work correctly. ![]() Repetier is particularly good for visualizing gcode, after you have sliced it with whatever slicer you choose. M92 X = Desired Movement / Actual Movement * Current M92 Repetier is just a front end for Slic3r you can slice with Slic3r directly, or use Repetier, or use Cura, And then print with Repetier, or copy the files to the SD card and print from that if you have an UltiController. * \brief Number of steps for a 1mm move in x direction. An automatic z-probe is moved with the extruder, so that the firmware does not need to wait for user actions. The optical endstops on the Davinci 1.0 are outside the build area, and originally they were positioned x-33 y-12 z0 (fyi 1.0A is different even at that step and so endstops and min max position would need changed to match yours. For auto leveling you need a z-probe to measure the distance in a automatic or semi-automatic fashion. Originaly the DaVinci coordinates was 200x200x200 with 0,0 at the rear right corner nerest the filament dump box. ** Drive settings for printers with cartesian drive systems / Since version 0.90 the Repetier-Firmware supports auto leveling. I went into config.h and found the following that I am assuming is the M92 base level: So I am trying to figure out what the current M92 value is for the base level code. ![]() Thankfully, someone has already modified the firmware to be compatible with the DaVinci, and there is a very good youtube instructional video on how to complete the process. I selected X access to move 100mm and it only moved 81.78mm. The DaVinci’s main board runs the same micro controller as an Arduino Due, meaning it can run the open source printing firmware compatible with Repetier-Host. I changed my belt on my davinci 1.0a and now the X axis is way off on its movements. ![]() When I enter in the M501 command from the command prompt in either the web server or from Repetier Host I do not get anything back or I get the following (connecting from repetier host)ġ7:25:20.953 : Repetier-Server successfully connected.ġ7:25:21.531 : FIRMWARE_NAME:Repetier_0.91 FIRMWARE_URL: PROTOCOL_VERSION:1.0 MACHINE_TYPE:Mendel EXTRUDER_COUNT:1 REPETIER_PROTOCOL:2ġ7:25:21.531 : Printed filament:636.80m Printing time:4 days 4 hours 39 minġ7:25:32.540 : Info: 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000ġ7:25:33.243 : Info:Configuration loaded from EEPROM.ok 11080ġ7:25:34.165 : Warning: Missed line detected - correcting buffer usage.
